Antonio Hardy, the legendary musician known as “Big Daddy Kane,” performed at a special event held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in downtown Trenton on January 3. Hardy performed one of his classic hits “Ain’t No Half Steppin'” to an excited crowd at the hotel. The event was produced by Ice Productions and tickets sold for $40. Big Daddy Kane is famous for his collaborations with Biz Markee, Quincy Jones, Patti Labelle, and also for providing a song for the soundtrack of a film that starred the late Tupac Shakur. He won a Grammy award in 1991 and is widely regarded as one of the best and most influential rappers from the “golden age” of hip-hop.
